Progressivism works. Finding and celebrating progressive wins is super important! It's how we maintain our will. However, rage bait also works, and I find trawling through hundreds of articles optimized to make me feel shitty a bad time. We use AI to find and aggregate those progressive wins, to provide a ray of social sunshine in cloudy days.

I've always liked maps, and the term wayfinding in particular. Progress, to me, is the perpetual moving forward of a society with an eye toward improving the human condition, resisting oppressors, and being joyous en route. Progressive.news is a nascent attempt at creating a map of where others have been successful on this journey, with the goal that it lets others continue advancing faster. In an ecosystem meant to disorient us, I hope our experiments here can be a small part of finding your way.
